Harvest is a very special time for us. We don’t do any physical harvesting, instead we edit what is in our lives by harvesting what we want has grown and clearing out what is no longer healthy and not growing. This clears the way for us to start the school year with an clean, empty planting space to start the new journey of this school year.
Each year we choose our favorite memory from the past year. We bring something edible to represent that memory. For example, if your favorite memory this year was a picnic in the park with friends then you would bring something you ate on that picnic. Not all our favorite memories are food related. So what if you didn’t eat during your favorite time? No problem, just bring something yummy you would love to share. A picture by your dish is always welcome too! Be sure to not just focus on big vacations. We all have small beautiful moments through the year that might seem like nothing but make us smile looking back on them. Those are the moments that build our life, one moment at a time. So, bring the cruise, bring the quiet rainy day reading, it’s all worthy and just what what we would love to know about you.
During the evening we will take a few minute to be quite and reflect on the past year.
